Prayer Position – A great gothic Dia de los Muertos headpiece consisting of three gold glittered skulls representing the Holy Trinity. The Blessed Mother headdress also boasts black roses, blue and gold glittering halo, and blue veil!
I would like to give a special thanks Artemio Enriquez, a native, born and raised in Mexico, for sharing his experiences with Dia de los Muertos and the ancient Aztec culture, as well as Darrell Hicks, a Catechism teacher, for sharing with me his knowledge of the symbolism of the Virgin Mary which helped to inspire this headpiece!
